What is Private Pay Home Care?

Personalized one to one care provided by a licensed agency that will be tailored to the client’s individual needs.

Services may include:

Unskilled Care:
* Bathing, Dressing, Toileting
* Meal Preparation, Housekeeping
* Exercising
* Shopping and outings
* Medication reminders
* Care management

Skilled Care -- care not covered by Medicare and ordered by a physician that may include:
* Skilled nursing
   - Plastic surgery recovery
   - General surgery recovery
   - Mother baby programs
* Therapy services
   - Unrelated to an acute or post surgical condition - to maintain a client’s level of activity for    “maintenance purposes”

These services may be covered by some private insurance companies or can be paid for out of pocket.

Home Care:
* Allows clients to remain in their homes proud and independent
* Cost effective
* Provides clients with the freedom to make their own choices
* Provides respite to caregivers
