Nursing Assistant
The nursing assistant program is a course designed to teach the student the skills and abilities necessary to provide basic care to patients and residents in hospitals and long term care facilities. Students that graduate from our program will be able to converse and interact effectively with patients and residents, as well as be able to assist patients and residents in achieving optimum quality of life, while understanding and observing patients’ rights.

Students will be able to carry out basic first aid, CPR, vital signs, assisting patient with ADL’s. In addition, students will have basic knowledge of nutritional meal planning. The students will have knowledge of infection control and universal precautions. Graduates will be able to apply proper body mechanics in bed making, lifting, turning and repositioning patients. Students that graduate from our program will find entry level jobs as nursing assistants at hospitals, home health agencies, nursing homes and other health care facilities.

Program Cost
There is a non-refundable registration fee of 25.00. Tuition is 450.00. CPR certification is required and it is offered at a cost of $35.00. The cost for textbooks, uniforms and other reference materials is $140.00. The grand total for the two short weeks course is $630.00.
